Suggestions for Use of 183^TM Topical Solution

• Shake bottle once or twice prior to applying. Avoid eye contact. If eye contact occurs, flush with cool water immediately. Use either the spray cap or the applicator tip cap (or both) -- whichever is more convenient to reach the thinning areas of your scalp. Apply just enough to feel a cooling sensation on your scalp; if the solution is dripping down your neck or forehead you are applying too much. Apply to only the thinning or bald areas of your scalp -- applying it elsewhere serves no purpose. It is not necessary to massage the solution into your scalp. Just apply and style your hair as usual with a comb or brush. 183^TM TS is compatible with all hair styling products.

• Fill the enclosed extra applicator bottle with 183^TM from the main bottle and keep this bottle in your purse, pocket, or desk at work and apply 183^TM midday or whenever you are away from home and refill as necessary from the main bottle.

• All natural 183^TM is active for only 5 to 6 hours. During this time it lowers pH to prevent the enzymes called 5 alpha reductase type 1 and 2 from metabolizing DHT. Individuals who have had the best results use the product 4 times per day, achieving almost around-the-clock protection: Upon rising (ideally after showering), at lunchtime (using the extra applicator bottle), at dinnertime and before retiring. If you are applying 183^TM three times a day, or just morning and evening, you will still be shutting down the 5 alpha reductase enzymes 50% of the time, but some DHT will be metabolized once the 6-hour period of activity is exceeded. Women who use 183^TM TS only twice a day will obtain better results than men with the same number of applications per day since their testosterone level is lower to begin with.

• When possible, apply after showing or bathing when the follicles are most easily penetrated. If you blow-dry your hair, wait about five minutes to let the solution absorb before doing so. For example, arrange your morning schedule so that you shower, apply 183^TM, brush your teeth/shave, get dressed, then dry your hair. Once you make applying 183^TM a daily "habit" -- this usually takes about 21 days -- it will become automatic and you won't consider it inconvenient.

• You may comb 183^TM through your hair. The solution is water-based and leaves no film, grease or stickiness on your hair. 183^TM Topical Solution is safe for all types of color-treated hair, as well as permed and curl relaxed hair.

• Consider adding the mineral supplement MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) in capsule or tablet form to your diet -- 1,000 to 3,000 mg/day. MSM is close to the body's own form of sulfur used to grow keratin protein in hair and nails. As we age, natural sulfur production diminishes. MSM replenishes this natural form of sulfur (not related to sulfur drugs to which some are allergic). Many people have reported faster hair and nail growth rates with daily MSM consumption.

• Expect to see the cessation of hair loss in two to three weeks. Since only 10% of your hair is actively growing in at any one time, expect to notice significant new hair growth in two to four months. One bottle of 183^TM Topical Solution should last two to three months depending on the amount of scalp being treated.

• You can skip 183^TM applications for a day or two -- even a week -- without losing ground. If you stop for good, however, DHT will no longer be inhibited and your hair will begin to fall out again after about four weeks.
