WARNING
Calcium
D-Glucarate
Some "health" industry manufacturers
advertise and sell
calcium
d-glucarate
for the inhibition of the "cancer enzyme,"
ß-glucoranidase.
Calcium D-Glucarate is a sugar acid
derivative of the oxidation of
D-gluconic acid. It is practically insoluble
in water, alcohol and ether. It is
soluble in mineral acids and calcium
gluconate.
It is used as a pharmaceutic aid and,
plasticizer
in
cement,
concrete,
mortar,
and recently as a nutritional/food supplement
by some.
ACTUALLY,
the
ß-glucoranidase
inhibitor is not calcium D-glucarate but
D-glucaric
acid.
No one may know the possible long term
adverse health and longevity affects of calcium D-glucarate plasticizer.
We only know for certain that it is
NOT
the compound that inhibits the cancer
enzyme, ß-glucoranidase.
The question is, do we need a plasticizer
in our intestines and consequently in our blood vessels? Aren't there
already enough chemicals in our foods and supplements, e.g. titanium
dioxide that can possibly clog up the capillary and arterial blood vessels?

of calcium-d-glucarate. All health products containing potentially dangerous
additives should be recalled immediately.
